Tankless "On-Demand" Water Heaters

Endless Hot Water: No tank to run out means an endless supply of hot water.

Save Money: No storage tank to clog with deposits and rust. No pilot light to waste gas. With a computer modulated burner, use only the gas required, according to demand. With superior efficiency you can save up to 50% on your utility bills, with ever increasing gas prices, why wouldn't you.

Save Space: A Takagi TK 2 takes up only 2.2 cubic feet of space, about the size of a suitcase thus freeing up valuable space in your home. An enamel coated body means these heaters can be installed on an exterior wall -- freeing up even more interior space!

Save The Planet: Water is only heated as it is used, without need for a holding tank maintaining hot water and wasting energy. The heater’s high efficiency and no pilot light allows you to save energy and reduce emissions, making it far more environmentally friendly than a conventional water heater. Moreover, saving energy can earn you tax breaks.

Takagi: I have been installing tankless water heaters since 1990 in Europe, Asia and America. They have improved dramatically over the past few years. I installed a Takagi TK-2 in my own home and it is the unit that I recommend to my customers. I have had no call backs at all from this unit since I have been installing them and have had nothing but good feed back from my customers. I am also happy to install other brands and have had good results with Rinnai and Noritz.

This picture shows the attic space of a duplex. We replaced one of the water heaters with a TK-2 because one of the owners was uncomfortable with having a heavy tank of 120 degree water above her bed! With no tank, a TK-2 (or equivalent) is smaller and lighter than a regular water heater and eliminates the risk of expensive water damage from a burst tank. This picture clearly shows the size difference between the two units. The owner of the other side of the duplex also wishes to upgrade her old water heater to a tankless type.

This picture shows a Takagi TK-2 mounted on the exterior of a house. In this case the old tank water heater was in a small kitchen area. Relocating the water heater to the outside of the house freed up a lot of space in the kitchen and eliminated an unsightly dust trap.

This is a Rinnai exterior flush mounted water heater. A great option for exterior mounted applications, typically requires some additional carpentry and/ or stucco work- great when incorporated with a remodel.
